Do we need to transcribe the whole Western Union Telegram heading or can we just transcribe the words WESTERN UNION TELEGRAM and then the body of the telegram.

Not a popular answer, but… I always transcribe the whole thing. There are several versions of these forms, depending on the year and the company. I save versions of the various forms on a word document as I go, and then just paste the appropriate one in the next time I run across that particular form (changing the individual to/from/etc details) OCR sometimes will transcribe these fairly accurately, but you do have to double-check afterwards.
Yes we need to transcribe the Western Union heading. However, I have saved dozens on my laptop over the years and may have the one you need. If you post a link to the page I might be able to do it for you.
oh ok. if you see one in your travels that needs a review, that would have been me who didn’t transcribe the heading.

That’s fine. I see pages without the Western Union header from time to time and usually I have the exact template or one close enough that I can easily modify it.
